THURSDAY, MAY 18: Effective Elevator Pitches: What to Say & How to Say It
While few of us are lucky enough to step on an elevator with a potential investor, the ‘elevator pitch’ refers to the quick presentation you would use to explain your business proposition before you reached the top floor. While we rarely give a pitch on an elevator, entrepreneurs are always pitching their ideas and being asked to sell a concept in a minute or two, so knowing what to say and how to structure a solid pitch is an essential for seeking agreement. Whether looking for venture capital, trying to sell a client, or applying for a job, you are going to be pitching. Life’s a Pitch -- so learn how to do it right!
