50th CIAA Spring Art Show awards
Carrie Jo Rehfeld won Best of Show award for her still life of “Fruit of Labor” at the Central Idaho Art Association 50th Anniversary  Spring Show. 
Nationally known artist, Judy Fairley, judged the show. 
First place blue ribbons went to Founding Member, Ellamae Holes, for her acrylic “Williams Lake”. Blue ribbons also went toNorma Pfaff for her oil of buffalo “Tatanka”,two blue ribbons to Pearl Maxner for her drawing “Syringa” and for her watercolor “Hog Wash”,Mary Bakker for her pastel “Let There Be Light”, Debbie Fournier for mixed media “The Barnyard”, David Martin for photograph “Molten Lace”, Mary Bakker for her sculpture “Mother’s Love”. Second place red ribbons went to Joyce Close for her acrylic “Sater Meadow”, Carrie Jo Rehfeld for her oil “American Elevator”, Pearl Maxner for her watercolor “The Woodsman”, Debbie Barnett for her drawing “Idaho Cat”, Leah Harvey for her pastel “Untitled (Skulls Horns)”, Debbie Fournier for mixed media “On a Wing and a Prayer”, David Martin for his photograph “Heaven Smiles”. Third place white ribbons went to Jackie Zumalt for her acrylic “Lounging Lynx”, Carrie Jo Rehfeld for her oil “Sea Gals”, Jackie Zumalt for her watercolor “Light Skimmed Gem”, Pearl Maxner for her drawing “Pinecones”, Mary Bakker for her pastel “Captain Tom”, Debbie Fournier for mixed media “The Resting Place/Carmel Mission”, David Martin for his photograph “Spirit Wind”.Merit awards went to Leah Harvey for her acrylic “Old Barn Latch”, Susie Barnett for her watercolor “Hunter”, and Pearl Maxner for her pastel “Morning Calm”. The Gallery award went to Debbie Barnett for “Lily Pond”. Thursday’s People’s Choice award went to Norma Pfaff for her oil “Mama Griz”, Friday’s People’s Choice went to Norma Pfaff for her oil ”Tatanka”, Saturday’s People’s Choice went to David Martin for his photograph “Spirit Wind”  The Kid’s Choice award went to Norma Pfaff for her oil of cougar “Ever Vigilant”. The show had 74 entries and two sales. The special Founding Members Featured art included pieces by Ladd Arnoti, Amsel Beardemphl, Vickie Cole, Ellamae Holes, Sue Powell, Irmalee Green, Eddi Olson, Cleave Eimers, and Carm Spencer. The Show enjoyed a Wednesday Soiree following the judging. Rick Weholt provided music and all enjoyed complimentary refreshment. Many historical books of documents and photos were on display throughout the show. Members remembered and expressed appreciation for CIAA Founding Members. Many thanks to all who shared in the celebration, and thanks to the Bicentennial Historical Museum who hosted the show, to The Gallery who hosted the CIAA member dinner, to the City of Grangeville for posting the show on the Courthouse lawn bulletin, to all our local newspapers who promoted and helped recognize the work of the community’s Founding Members.
