events for Tri-Parish Youth
Dear Youth, The summer is upon us and we will be busy with retreats, fundraisers, swimming, sleep overs and more. Please note that the schedule for the entire summer will be in this letter so please mark your calendar for events that pertain to you, and many blessings on your summer days! On June 5th Debbie will be hosting a safe environment class at the OMG at 7:00 p.m. On June 7th the youth who will be going to Leadership camp will host a car wash at the Cottonwood fire station from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. On June 10th and 11th the Haiti team will speak at all of the Masses about a summer fundraiser. On June 12th, the Jr. High and High school youth will meet in Debbie’s office at 10:00 for roadside clean-up. We will go to Subway following the clean-up. On June 14th-17th the High School youth will be attending a Leadership camp in Stanley. We will meet in the Church parking lot at 8:45 on Wednesday the 14th and leave at 9:00 a.m. We will return around 7:30 p.m. on the 17th. June 19th -23rd Debbie will have a week off! On June 27th the High School youth will meet in the OMG at 6:30 p.m.to plan the upcoming “Fun in the Son” retreat. On June 30-July 1st we will have our annual “Fun in the Son” retreat at Keuterville hall beginning at 3:00 p.m. All High School youth are invited. You must fill out a form to attend which can picked up at the parish office or contact Debbie. On July 6th the youth who are attending Steubenville Northwest will meet in the OMG youth room to plan our full day barbeque. Debbie will take the 10th through the 14th off. On July 10th the youth will hand out the barbeque form for lunch delivery. On July 14th the youth will pick up the forms from the businesses. On July 20th we will host the full day barbeque at St Mary’s office lawn from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. . All Steubenville youth are asked to be at the parish office at 9:00 a.m. to begin this full day adventure. On July 25th the Leadership camp group will be meet at the OMG at 7:00 to plan our August haystack delivery. On July 28th -July 30 our High school youth will be attending the Steubenville conference in Spokane. We will leave at 11:00 a.m. on Friday from the Church parking lot. We will return on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. On August 2nd the Leadership group will be handing out haystack forms to the businesses. On August 4th the Jr. High are invited to a full day of fun in the sun at Zim’s Hot Springs. We will meet at the Church parking lot at 9:00 a.m. and return by 7:00 p.m. This day includes swimming, Subway, ice cream and tons of fun. You must have filled out a form prior to going. Please pick this form up at the office. Drivers will be needed so contact Debbie prior to the trip if you want to drive. On August 8th the youth will be picking up the haystack forms. On August 9th the Steubenville group will host a carwash from 10:00 to 4:00 at the fire station. On August 11th the Leadership will deliver haystack from 11:00 to 2:00. On August 14th -18th Debbie will be off. We will have a Youth Mass in Keuterville this summer followed by s’mores but it is not scheduled yet. We will try to fit in a High School River day in August.
