and Alcohol trends presentation set for July 17
The Cottonwood Police Department will be doing a presentation on current Drug and Alcohol Trends on Monday, July 17, at 6:00 PM at the Cottonwood Community Hall. We would like to invite everyone to attend this FREE event, as both of these directly impact each of our communities. Please schedule the time to come and join us, we look forward to sharing the information that we have put together. The goal is to educate everyone on the extreme changes in drug and alcohol culture, specifically on its effects on today’s youth. Topics include: Clothing, media, music, terminology, alcohol, marijuana, dabs/BHO, Ecstacy, raves/EDM, stash, containers, prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs, new trending drugs and more. Students, parents, teachers, community members, emergency responders, substance abuse professionals and anyone else interested are invited to attend.
