Grangeville Farmer's Market
The Grangeville Farmers’ Market is in full swing.  Shoppers beware, the fourth and final Thursday evening market will be held this week during the Grangeville Arts Music in the Park.  Saturday markets will continue in the Pioneer Park until September 16.
Farmers selling their wares include dairy, meat, feed, and produce.  Crafts, including aprons, mobiles, dish cozies, jewelry, and more are offered.  Leather repair and fine handwork lessons are on site, also.
SyndiCat Bros., Pete Northcutt and Johnnie Henderson, will be playing for tips on Saturday, August 5.  Free coffee and a chance to visit with your neighbors make the Market a fun place.  The Grub Club, for children 5 through 12 has had fun activities, this year, as well, including a vendor treasure hunt, free plants donated by NICI, children’s yoga and a planting session including seeds, dirt and pots.  The Grub Club is free with two wooden nickels worth one dollar each given out to members, each Saturday.  Word has it that a chicken will be visiting the Market on this Saturday, August 5.
September 2 will find the annual Market survey with a twist this year.  Completed surveys will be collected and three will be drawn for a five dollar gift certificate given to the winners.
Tomatoes are in demand with the late ripening season.  If anyone has extra tomatoes, please bring them to sell at the Market.  A free half table, under an awning is offered twice a season to vendors.
The free non-profit table and awning can be reserved by calling Michelle Perdue at 983 3763.  The Clearwater to Elk City Wagon Road group has used the table, already, this year.  Also, please remember that EBT cards are accepted by the Market.
