January events for Tri-Parish Youth
Dear Youth in Christ,
Happy New Year!   The beginning of the year gives us the opportunity to grow in our faith and make changes to our routines.  It is here, in the beginning of a new year that you are invited to join us during this month of January.  We will focus on  prayer, worship, fun, planning, learning, and study!  Please look at these activities and see where God may be calling you to grow in 2018!
On January 10th the Haiti team is meeting at the OMG at 7:00 p.m. to plan the cinnamon roll and chili delivery for Super Bowl Sunday.  Please be present if you are going on the mission trip in June!  
The adult Leadership team is asked to come to a meeting on January 17th at 7:00 p.m.   We will be discussing the activities and events for Feb., March, and April.  I will be calling you to invite you and let you know the location we will be meeting.  I am going to try and reserve the Habit for that night and will let you know the details.  I really need your input and help so thank you in advance for your “yes” to helping with this inspiring ministry! 
The Confirmation class will meet on January 21st immediately following Mass at the CEC.  Please remember to bring your books and finish your reading prior to class.   On Monday January 22nd the High School Leadership Bible Study will be at Debbie’s office at 7:00 p.m.  If you went to Stanley last Summer and attended the retreat you are asked to attend this learning session, or is you are interested in learning how to lead a Bible study please join us.  On January 24th the Jr. High are invited to night of learning on the subject of “Materialism”.  We will have pizza at 6:30, study from 7:00 to 8:00 and social from 8:00 to 9:00.  Please invite your Jr. High friends!  
On January 29th the High school girls will meet at the OMG for a “Night of Radiance”.  This night will begin will food at 6:30 and the lesson will follow.  The night will consist of discussion based off the Catholic magazine “Radiant”.  Girls, invite your friends as we delve into the subject of relationships and find out what it like to live in these relationships as God intends.  We will finish the month with a Karaoke social.  All Jr. High and High School are invited to the OMG at 6:30 for pizza.  We will spend the night sharing our talents of song and fun.  Please remember to invite your friends!
The greatness of a New Year is the opportunity to start over and begin anew.  Please see where God may be inviting you as we gather in His name to grow in His way!  I can’t wait to see you and rememberyou are loved, because God is love!
