Prairie students earn straight A's
44 students had perfect 4.0 grade point averages for the first semester of the 2017-18 school year at Prairie Jr./Sr. High School. They were Dereck Arnzen, Sydney Bruner, Leah Higgins, Anthony Karel, Calli Perrin, Jace Perrin and Molly Schwartz in the senior class; Kendra Duclos, Jordyn Higgins, Kristyna Krogh, Madison Pecarovich, Ellea Poxleitner, Spencer Schumacher and James Villamor in the junior class; Carson Forsman, Anna Kaschmitter, Samuel Mager, India Peery and Jacey Rambo in the sophomore class; John Gehring, Anthony Goeckner, Halle Klapprich, Leann Lightfield, Cole Martin , Cole Schlader and Kerri Villamor in the freshman class; Travis Alfrey, Jeffrey Arnzen, Connor Brown, Jack Chapman, Wade Goeckner, Olivia Klapprich, Delanie Lockett, Zachary Rambo, Ali Rehder, Wyatt Ross and Evan Schwartz in the 8th grade and Morgan Poxleitner, Julia Rehder, Chloe Rowland, Tara Schlader, Holli Schumacher and Mary Schwartz in the 7th grade. Seniors making the high honors list (3.50-3.99 grade point average) were Sarah Ross and Alexis Shears. Juniors on the high honors list were Garrett Crenshaw, Emma Gehring, Alexis Hiler, Kate Lustig, Sabrina Lustig, Kace Munger, Maria Schmidt, Dylan Schumacher, Michael Schwartz, Paul Sonnen, Kodie Tidwell, Noelle Uhlenkott and Theresa Wemhoff. Making the high honors list from the sophomore class were Owen Anderson, Sydnee Bruegeman, Garrett Bunce, Ciara Chaffee, Aaron Goeckner, Ashton Landers, Brooklyn Riener, Reid Uptmor, Hailey Wilson and Cassandra Wine.
