Companies sell to employees
Steve and Donna Frei announced recently that as of January 1st 2018, all employees will now own stock in both of their companies: Pacific Cabinets, Inc. and Scientific Environments, Inc.  This was done through an ESOP.  (Employee Stock Ownership Plan)
On January 4th, Roy Farmer of BTA (Consultant hired to orchestrate the transaction) explained to the employees how the transition would happen and answered any questions that the employees had.
The success of these companies over the last several years can be attributed to the hard work and dedication of the employees. This has also allowed the transition of ownership, where the employees can obtain 100% of the company stock with no out of pocket expense.
Steve and Donna saw this as a way to honor the employees while also solidifying the legacy of the companies they built.  This new structure will ensure that the company continues to thrive and prosper for many years to come.
Management of the company will remain intact.  Steve Frei will remain Chief Executive Officer of the company.  Casey Forsmann will manage day to day operations as the General manager.  Linda Nida will manage the Administrative department and HR as Office manager.  Jason Rieger will manage shop operations as Production manager.  Ron Routh of Las Vegas will be transitioning from Project manager to Sales manager in the upcoming months taking over Donna Frei’s previous position.
