Ski Skoop
Cottonwood Butte Ski Area had an exciting weekend. The weekend started on Friday night with 60 skiers and snowboarders enjoying fresh powder and a full moon.
On Saturday we extended our hours from 10am to 9pm and had 150 skiers and snowboarders throughout the day. During this time we also had an Emergency Preparedness Drill put on by St. Mary’s Hospital and WSU Medical Students.  As part of the Emergency Preparedness Drill an accident scene was set up on the hill and Life Flight was called as part of the Drill.
Sunday we had our annual meeting of the Frost Bite Club. Members of the club dressed in summer attire while skiing and snowboarding.  All members that participated got their name put in for prize drawings.  Prizes were also given for the most creative outfit.
Our season is ending this coming weekend March 10th and March 11th. We will be open 10am to 4pm both days.  If you have not had a chance to escape to the Cottonwood Butte Ski Area, come join us this weekend!
Please check Facebook, the Today @ CBSA on our website www.cottonwoodbutte.org, or call the Lodge during operating hours 208-962-3624 for snow conditions, openings, closures, and prices.
