‘Beauty Lou & the Country Beast’ set for Friday
Audiences of all ages will get a fresh look at an old favorite this Friday, March 16 when the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and more than 60 local students present BEAUTY LOU AND THE COUNTRY BEAST. 
Featured as Beauty Lou will be Halee Rowland and Josie Remacle. The Younger Daughters and Older Daughters will be played by Callie Remacle, Grace Uhlenkott, Sheridan Ousnamer, Miranda Klapprich Ella McLeod, Kylee Riggers, Jessica Price, Anna Everson, Trinity Martinez, Adelyn Geis, Julia Wemhoff, and Becca Jones.  
Imaginary Friend will be played by Alex McElroy. 
Beast will be played by Jesse Cronan. 
Dusty and Slim the helpful farmhands will be played by Owen McIntire and Morgan Poxleitner.  Faithful friend Fleabite Clyde, the dog, will be played by Ellie Nuxoll.  
Hoping to win enough money to save the family farm, Buck sets off for the rodeo and is joined by the rest of the Country Folk Chloe Rowland, Pixie Jones, Shae Dinning, Kerri Villamor, Mattie Lustig, Sarah Lustig, Noah Behler, Taylor Riener, Dylan Forsmann, Kaylie Lockett, Morgan Pack, Max Rehder, Aubree Rehder, Miah Mager, Kylie Schumacher, Sydney Shears, Dylan Uhlenkott, Kane McIntire, Tommy Rose, Alaina Lustig, Ashton Martin, Steel Uhlenkott, Maggie Nuxoll, and Reagan Brannan and Barnyard Critters played by Mikayla Rowland, Jaylin Johnson, Rebekah Shears, Victoria Shears, Teagan Dieseldorf, Jennifer Saker, Bowen Bennett, Destiny Poxleitner, Ayla Ratcliff, Alaina DeCaria, Cooper Riener, Hank Harman, Nicole Schumacher, Tristan VanHouten, Paityn Funke, and Ava Klapprich.  Drake Cronan, Madeline Betts, Stephanie Niland, and Jordan Quick have served as Assistant Directors throughout the week.
BEAUTY LOU AND THE COUNTRY BEAST will be presented at 1:00 and 7:00 pm at the Prairie High School Gym.  Tickets are prices are $5.00 per adult and $3.00 per student and are available at the door.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre residency in Cottonwood is presented locally by Center For Discovery with support from Dale and Brandy McElroy and Family, Rod and June Behler at Fred’s Body Shop, Ed and Jackie Poxleitner, Mike and Suzi Quintal and Family, and Emmett and Cindy Wilson.  For more information, call Erin Shears at 208-816-0202.
