The Cottage on the Prairie, the former Chalet located behind Trestle Brewing in Ferdinand, is under new management. Kymmer Keller is looking to revitalize the business. It is a 2-story guesthouse and is now available for overnight and multi-evening rentals. The main floor includes a queen size bed, a hide-a-bed, flat screen TV with Dish-TV, washer/dryer, mini-fridge, microwave and jacuzzi tub-shower. For larger families the upstairs is also available with another queen size bed, flat screen TV with Dish-TV, mini-fridge, microwave, and a tub/shower with double shower heads. She doesn’t want to rent them out separately as the upper level’s only separate access is an outside spiral stairway. Keller has plans to offer hunting season specials and specials for other special occasions such as Valentine’s Day. Access to the cottage is by way of the alley next to the Ferdinand Fire Station.
