Annual Auction set for April 29
Abbie Uhlenkott was selected Animal and Veterinary Sciences Outstanding
Junior Student of the Year for 2017-2018 at the University
of Idaho. She was recognized for her outstanding achievements and
involvement in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at their awards
banquet this month. The outstanding student awards recognize students
who show potential for contributing to the fields of agriculture, animal
science, life sciences, or family and consumer sciences upon graduation.
Abbie is double majoring in Animal and Veterinary Sciences with an emphasis
in Ag Business and Agricultural Economics with a minor in accounting.
She was also recognized at the banquet for her involvement in the Student
Idaho Cattle Association Club and for being selected as an ambassador for
the 2018-2019 school year. Abbie is the daughter of Brett and Cara
Uhlenkott and a 2016 graduate of Prairie High School. |
