Roping event set for this weekend
Come join Two Bar V Livestock at their arena on Greencreek Road for HOT AUGUST LOOPS Roping on August 4th and 5th. Two Bar V Livestock is owned by Anthony & Renee Verdino (Dave & Sally Duman's daughter of Cottonwood, Idaho).  The weekend is open to the public free of cost.  Both days of roping start at 9 am and will continue until late afternoon until all events are completed.  Parking is limited and concessions will be available all day.
The weekend of events will consist of women's team roping, tie down, steer stopping, breakaway roping, men's tie-down roping, and a youth breakaway.  On Sunday, the women's breakaway and men's tie-down roping will be a qualifier for the RFD-TV The American that is held in Texas this fall.    The events are nationally associated with the WPRA (Women's Pro Rodeo Association), WSRRA (Western States Rodeo Association), and UCR (Ultimate Calf Roping).  In addition, the youth breakaway is a 100% payback as an incentive to keep youngsters active and grow in the roping sport.
Renee, Anthony, and their children would like to extend a thank you to the local and surrounding area businesses for their support and sponsorship for this roping event. Without the support, Two Bar V would not be celebrating as many successes as they have had. Thank you to all of the added money sponsors for the weekend which include Cottonwood Foods, Rodonna's Country Haus, The Tire Guy, Tom Seubert Farms, Livewire Electric, Rosebud Horseshavings,  Farm Bureau Ins., Subway, Super 8, Pizza Factory, Les Schwab of Grangeville, Lucky Acers Fencing, Intermountain Feed, Joe Hall Ford, and Inland Cellular.  A thank you also needs to be extended to the contributors of the roping which include Cottonwood Foods, Pepsi, Tre Rio Silversmith, Pat Madden with Prairie Hauling, Wayne James Ranch, Prairie Equipment Rental, Dave & Sally Duman and family & friends.
Not only would Renee & Anthony like to invite you to HOT AUGUST LOOPS, but they would also like to extend an invite to another upcoming rodeo they are hosting on September 29th. Their Ranch Rodeo will entertain everyone with events that include branding calves, trailer loading cows and more. See you there!
