County Democrats election year dinner set for Sept. 22
Saturday, September 22 is the date and the Cottonwood Community Hall is the place for a “Soup Line Dinner” and a chance to meet top of the ticket candidates. The theme of this midterm election year dinner, formerly known as the Greencreek dinner, is “The Party of Roosevelt.” The location is new but the spirit is the same. The Cottonwood Community Hall is on King Street, across from Wolftrack Brewing. Festivities will begin at 4:00 P.M. with a social hour at the Wolftrack Tasting Den, 505 King Street, Cottonwood. The Guilty Bystanders will entertain. Social hour continues a step across King Street to the hall and runs from 5:30 until dinner is served at 6:30 P.M. Keynote speaker, Rebecca Cleveland-Schroeder, District 4A candidate and party activist, will speak at 7:00 P.M. Ms Cleveland-Schroeder was born in Grangeville and raised in Kooskia. She now lives in Coeur d’Alene with her husband and son.  From
