LCSC CTE programs to hold Career Showcase Event for high school students on Oct. 26
The Lewis-Clark State College Career & Technical Education programs will hold their second annual Career Showcase Event for area high school sophomores and juniors on Oct. 26 at the college.
The event will show students 19 different CTE options available at LCSC along with how to finance their education. In all, the college has more than 30 CTE programs in its Business Technology & Services and Technical & Industrial divisions.
Students signed up to attend the event through their high school counselors.
During the event, which will be held at the Williams Conference Center, Sam Glenn Complex and the Mechanical Technical Building, students will take part in hands-on activities and hear from industry professionals in the 19 programs. They will also have the opportunity to meet and talk with current CTE students and instructors.
Snacks will be provided to the students, who will have an opportunity to win prizes and LCSC scholarships.
For more information contact Katie Babino, program assistant for CTE at LCSC, at either kbabino@lcsc.edu or 208-792-2871.
