While it was raining in the lower elevations, the Cottonwood Butte Ski Area got 4 inches of new snow last week making 18 inches at the base and 22 inches at the summit. The new snow made perfect conditions for the Kamiah School Day on Friday. We had a lot of fun and the kids did great learning to ski and snowboard! Thank you Kamiah 7th and 8th graders for coming up to the Butte to ski and snowboard! The great snow conditions continued on Saturday with 52 skiers and snowboarders and 80 on Sunday. The skiing and snowboarding will continue this Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm with lessons available on Saturday. So come on up and enjoy the great snow conditions!
