open against Challis at State
Prairie opens State Tournament play against District 5-6 champion Challis, 16-6, at 5:15 PST on Thursday, Feb. 28 at Vallivue High School in Caldwell. Challis was second in their league, losing twice to Grace but won 2 of 3 against Grace at District to earn the state berth. The only common opponent was Oakley, who Challis lost to by 17 then beat by 12. Valley, 18-4, plays Riverstone, 15-10. Liberty Charter, 18-6 with a loss to Prairie, plays Potlatch, 17-6. Lapwai, 18-4, plays Ambrose, 16-7 with a loss to Prairie.
