Kicking off Summer, Kickball Tournament. Its Back, the Prairie Booster Clubs adult kickball tournament will be on June 6th starting at 5:30. Burgers and other food items will be available at the burger barn. So, come out and enjoy an evening of fun and laughs as teams compete for the title of Kickball champions. We now have a great bleacher for sitting in or bring your lawn chair and get up and personal with the game. We would love to see a crowd of people there to cheer on those crazy enough to lace up their kickball shoes and pull on the jersey. Another year in the books. Great sports seasons where we once again sent almost all teams to state. I hope you know just what a great achievement that is, as I was told by one visiting teams’ fans,” We would just like to get one team to State this year”. Prairie has been very lucky and also very diligent in working hard to achieve such great success. Thank you to all the players and coaches who worked so hard this season. Thank you also to the great community, backing all our schools’ activities. Our academics are fantastic, and our clubs and sports teams are developing skills and character that each of these kids will be able to use in the future. As we kick off the summer, teachers get a short breather, athletes go to open gyms and camps and the booster club dives in for another year. Pirate gear is available at Prestige Business Services (Mandy Bunce) on main Street in Cottonwood. The membership drive and events like the potato bar at the Idaho County Fair.
