Isabella Nau is state finalist
Isabella Nau, daughter of Christopher and Patricia Nau of Georgia and granddaughter of Greg and Wendy Nau of Ferdinand, is a state finalist in the National American Miss Georgia Pageant.
The pageant will be held July 5-7 at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter Hotel, 4355 Ashford Dunwoody Road in Atlanta, Georgia.
She is competing in the Pre-Teen age division. The winner will receive a $1,000 cash award, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses and air transportation to compete in the national pageant at Disneyland in California. She will also get to tour Hollywood and has the chance to represent the state of Georgia for the entire year.
Contestants will compete in four overall categories including: Formal Wear Modeling, Personal Introduction, Interview and Community Service Project.
The National American Miss Pageant is the largest in the nation. The focus of this organization is to create future leaders and to equip them with real-world skills to make their dreams a reality. The program is based on inner beauty, as well as poise and presentation, and offers an “All-American spirit of fun for family and friends.” Emphasis is placed on the importance of gaining self-confidence and learning new skills, such as good attitudes about competition, as well as setting and achieving personal goals.
Miss Nau’s activities include YMCA swim team and 4-H. She also enjoys water parks, the beach, good food, travel, photography, walking dogs, arts and crafts and books.
