Annual Ranch Rodeo
Some scenes from the third annual Ranch Rodeo at the Two Bar V Arena east of Cottonwood on Greencreek Road. 
A couple of scenes from the Hide Racing Relay. It looks to me like a great way to get a face full of dirt.

One pulls while another pushes to get a steer loaded. The third gets ready to close the gate. Time stopped when the gate was closed, the rope was inside the trailer with the steer and all four cowboys on a team were seated in the crew cab pickup with the doors closed. 
All 18 teams, including one all-female team, gather in the arena prior to the competition as the announcer goes over the rules for each event. There's fewer than 72 competitors as several competitors were on more than one team. |
