November events for Tri-Parish Youth
Dear Youth,
Happy November!  The great Lord has given us a month to remember gratitude.  We have so many things to be grateful for; look, see and reflect on all that is around you and you will definitely experience the hand of God everywhere you look.  I am grateful for the opportunity to work with so many young people.  It is a privilege to walk alongside them and witness God’s work in their lives.  It is through an invitation and “yes” that we grow deeper in our faith, so as I plan this month’s activities and opportunities, I pray that you say “yes” to prayer, play, planning, delivering, celebrating, adoring, feasting, and giving!
We begin the month with the greatest moment of all, Adoration!  All High school and Jr. High youth are invited to attend an hour of Adoration on Nov. 1st at St. Mary’s at 10:00 p.m.  Give our God an hour of your time!  You won’t regret it!
On Sat. Nov. 2nd the youth, adults, and High School youth heading to the Jr. High Rally will meet at St. Mary’s Parking lot at 7:30 a.m.  Please bring 5.00 with you for dinner.  We will leave at 7:45 a.m. and return around 8:45 p.m.
On Nov. 2nd and 3rd the High School girls and boys will be given an opportunity to sign up for small groups.  The details will be announced at the Masses and signup sheets will be available following Mass.
On Nov. 6th the High School /Confirmation youth are invited to the OMG at 7:00 p.m. for Thanksgiving basket delivery planning.  We will have pizza at 6:30 p.m.
On Nov. 13th the High School youth are invited to the OMG at 7:00 p.m. to plan the Thanksgiving feast for the Jr. High youth.  We will have food at 6:30 p.m.  This is a great night of fun and fellowship as we gather together to celebrate the greatness of friendship and blessing!
On Nov. 17th the Confirmation Group will meet at the CEC at 11:30 a.m. for class.  Please bring your $35.00 and paperwork.
On Nov. 20th the High School youth/Confirmation youth will be delivering baskets throughout the communities. We will meet at the OMG at 5:30 and begin delivery at 6:00 p.m.  I will need drivers for this service night, so if you would like to help please contact me at 208-553-5837.
On Nov. 19th the High School youth will be hosting the Jr. High youth for a Thanksgiving feast.  All High School youth are asked to be at the CEC at 5:00 to set up for the night.  The Jr. High are asked to arrive at 6:00 p.m. for dinner.  The dinner will be followed with a movie!   (I will be looking for someone to make pies, rolls and bread for our Thanksgiving delivery and feast) If you are a baker and would like to contribute to either service activity please contact me.  Your help is greatly appreciated!
No youth group on Nov. 27th.  Happy thanksgiving to everyone on Nov. 28th.  I pray that you enjoy special time with your family and create memories to treasure for a lifetime.  Remember, to always be thankful for everything, especially the small things that happen daily.  They are God’s way of telling you how much He loves you!  Happy Thanksgiving and I am very grateful for each of you!
With a Grateful Heart,
Debbie
