Opening weekend at the Cottonwood Butte Ski Area was bursting with skiers! On Saturday we had 94 skiers and snowboarders and on Sunday 148 skiers and snowboarders. The snow conditions were excellent with 5 new inches of snow on Saturday and lots of powder. The great snow conditions continued Sunday with freshly groomed trails and powder in the trees. With more snow in the forecast, we will be open on Friday night 6pm to 10pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm, and Monday 10am to 4pm.
