Skiers and snowboarders escaped to Cottonwood Butte Ski Area Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday! There are 20 inches of snow at the base and 36 inches at the summit and trails are groomed. While skiers and snowboarders were escaping to Cottonwood Butte Ski Area, ski instructors were gone for training. Through the generosity of Tamarack Resort Ski School, our instructors learned new techniques for teaching ski lesson and how to structure and manage a lesson. We will be open again this weekend starting on Friday with Prairie Schools joining us during the day. Then we will have our last Friday Night Skiing 6pm to 10pm. We will also be open on Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm. On Super Bowl Sunday footballs with prizes will be on the hill.
