Remacle competes at 3 meets
Marji Remacle has been hard at work this year getting ready to complete in the USA Gymnastics XCEL program as a Silver level competitor. To date she has had three competitions. The first, on Saturday, Jan. 11, was the Winter Spirit Meet at her home gym, 360 Gymnastics in Clarkston, WA. Marji scored a 9.275 on Vault, a 9.425 on the uneven bars, a 9.1 on the balance beam, and a 9.175 on her floor exercise routine. She placed second in her division with an All Around score of 36.975 and her team placed first as well. This was a great premier to the 2020 season. On Jan. 26, Marji participated in the 2020 Wine County Invitational at the Tree Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick, WA. She received a 9.525 on Vault, a 9.425 on the uneven bars, a 9.0 on the balance beam, and a 9.15 on her floor exercise routine. She placed fourth in her division with an All Around score of 37.1. The Palouse Invitational Sweet on Gymnastics Meet took place on Feb. 1. Marji scored a 9.5 on Vault, a 9.5 on the uneven bars, a 9.15 on the balance beam, and a 9.2 on her floor exercise routine. She tied for first in her division with another teammate from 360 with a 37.35 and her team placed first in this meet as well. The meets Marji is looking forward to are the Great West Gym Fest at the Coeur d'Alene Resort, the Royal Fest at the Spokane Convention Center and hosted by the Davenport Grand Hotel in Spokane, and the Epic Invitational State Meet in Moses Lake, WA.
