Johnson named Player of the Year
Dean Johnson led a large contingent of Prairie players on the All-White Pine League Division 1 team by being named as Player of the Year.
This might be the first time ever a lineman has been named league player of the year.
Brody Hasselstrom was named as offensive player of the year.
Named to the all-WPL first team offense were Cole Schlader at quarterback, Hasselstrom at running back, Dalton Ross at receiver, Shane Hanson at center and Johnson at guard.
On the all-WPL first team defense were Ross at defensive back, T.J. Hibbard at linebacker, Johnson at tackle and John Gehring at defensive end.
Earning honorable mention honors on offense was Hibbard at running back.
Earning 2nd team honors on defense was Hasselstrom at linebacker.
Earning honorable mention honors on defense were Schlader at defensive back and Matt Coppernoll at defensive end.
