Pirates are 1-1 on the week
The Prairie boys basketball
team split their first two games of 2021 losing a non-league game at
home to Grangeville 58-59 on Tuesday, Jan. 5 and then winning a
non-league home game against Timberline 73-44 on Friday, Jan. 8. . . .

Lady Pirates win twice
The Prairie Lady Pirates opened the 2021 portion of their season with a
pair of wins. They won a non-league game at Orofino Thursday, Jan. 7,
50-38 and then won a league home game over Troy, 67-16 on Saturday,

Every day of
school, students are eligible to receive an R(3) card for being
Respectful, Responsible, Ready. At the end of each month at our monthly

The following first-grade
students were acknowledged at our assembly for reading over 100
books. The students each have a reading buddy and as they reach
reading goals, they get to be honored at our monthly assembly.

Today, we have the honor of welcoming
incoming Idaho County Sheriff Doug Ulmer. Sheriff Ulmer has been in law
enforcement for 33 years, 31 of those years at Idaho County. Sheriff
Ulmer brings a great amount of experience, local community involvement,
and we are looking forward to the assets and leadership he brings to
this department. Awaiting being sworn in themselves are re-elected
County Commissioner Skipper Brandt, newly elected County Commissioner
