Pirates out in 2 games at State
For only the second time ever, the Prairie Pirates boys team went 0-2 at the State Tournament as they lost their opener to Riverstone, 64-73, on Wednesday, March 3, and then were eliminated by Oakley, 38-59, on Thursday, March 4. Both games were played at Vallivue High School in Caldwell.
The only other time Prairie was out in 2 games was 2016. Every other time the Pirates brought home some kind of trophy, either consolation, third, second or first.

Oakley throwing a double team at him whenever he got the ball didn’t help either.  They made a conscious effort to make sure he didn’t beat them.
