Ski Skoop
Cottonwood Butte Ski Area had a special guest Saturday, Henry Black of New Plymouth. Henry decided for his 4th grade Idaho history project to learn about and ski every ski hill in Idaho. Henry, his mother, and his brother escaped to Cottonwood Butte on Saturday to ski his last hill to finish his Idaho history project. There are 20 ski hills in Idaho, and we were his last one.
On Sunday, the Butte received 2 more inches of snow making 38 inches at the base and 50 inches at the summit. The skiing and snowboarding will continue Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm. Please check Facebook, the Today @ CBSA on our website www.cottonwoodbutte.org or call the Lodge during operating hours 208-962-3624 for snow conditions, openings, closures, and prices.
