May events for Tri-Parish Youth Dear Youth in Christ, As the weather warms up and the school days come to a close we ask you to consider joining us in our end of the school year activities. As a young Church we will celebrate this special month through praise, prayer, play, worship and planning. It is here we call you and challenge you to become a disciple and live out your call as servants, witnesses and leaders. We begin the month of May with a sourdough pancake and sausage breakfast hosted by the Jamaica team. We will be serving this yummy breakfast in the Sacred Heart Room at St. Mary’s from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on May 2nd. I hope you can join us and thank you so much for your continued support! On May 5th, at 7:00 p.m. the High School youth are invited to the OMG room for a night of Catholic fun. We will be testing your Catholic knowledge though playing “Faithful Feud”. Please invite your friends and prizes will be awarded! On May 7th, all Jr. High and High School youth are invited to spend an hour with Jesus at 10:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church. Adoration is a special time where the world becomes quieter, and you are able to be more present to Jesus. This is such a beautiful opportunity to grow in your relationship with Him! Happy Mother’s Day to all of our mothers on May 9th. You are all a true gift from God! On May 11th I will meet with my Jesus and Coffee small group at the Habit at 3:30 p.m. On May 12th the Jr. High are invited to the OMG youth room at 7:00 p.m. for a night of Catholic fun. We will be playing “The Church is Right”. Please invite your friends and prizes will be awarded! On May 15th we have several teens who have signed up to serve at the Wimer/Lustig wedding. I do not have the details yet, but please make sure your calendar is marked if you signed up. Thank you so much for your willingness to serve! I will get you the details as soon as I have them. On May 16th, the Seniors from St. John Bosco and Prairie High School are invited to a Graduation Mass, held in their honor. This Mass will take place at St. Anthony’s Church in Greencreek at 10:30 a.m. I would like the Seniors to arrive by 10:00 a.m. with your cap and gown so I can line you up prior to Mass. A reception will follow at the Greencreek Hall. Please come and celebrate these amazing young people on this special Sunday! The end of the School Bash will be on May 19th at St. Mary’s Church. We will be starting the night at 6:30 with food, followed by games and s’mores. Please note that the whole family is invited to this and I look so forward to our time together! On May 24th the HS girls and I will be planning a social. I don’t know the details yet but after I talk with them tonight, I will have more specifics to share. Please watch the bulletin for more information. We will not have youth group on May 26th as it is my daughter’s birthday, so I will be celebrating her and the blessing she is in my life!
