District softball, baseball and track are set for this week.
Prairie beat Lapwai 15-10 Wednesday, May 12 in a District play-in game and will now play at the District Softball Tournament at Genesee at 3 and 5 p.m. Thursday, May 13. They open against Kendrick and then play again at 5, win or lose. They need to win at least 1 of the 2 games to advance to State.
The Prairie baseball team is the #1 seed and will play at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 13 at Orofino against Kamiah. With a win they would play at 6 p.m. Friday for the championship. With a loss they would play at 3:30 Friday in a must-win game to advance to state.
District track is at Lapwai Friday and Saturday. The top 5 individuals in each event and top 2 in each relay advance to state.
