The cooks and volunteers were extra busy last Tuesday at the Pioneer Senior Citizens lunch as it was customer appreciation day with a free meal provided to anyone who came. Over 60 attended the luncheon with another 30 home delivered meals. From left in the foreground of the top photo are Brenda Holmes, Sally Rehder, Gabby Rehder, Tiffany Forsmann and Mary Funke. The ‘Flush Fund’ toilet is a traveling trophy that is part of a fundraiser for grant matching funds for the proposed Cottonwood City Park Pavilion. A moose was sighted at 8:30 AM on September 27 by Rick and Rose Harman at the Cornelia Faur farm.  Not sure where he came from but he is in the area.
