Prairie Jr./Sr. High School is returning to their old student of the month selection having teachers nominate students who they believe display the qualities associated with our R words for the month.  This month's winners are based on teachers recognizing characteristics  associated with Relentless and Resilient. Julia Rehder and Alli Geis ran Monday’s Think Pink Volleyball fundraiser as their senior project. They announced that they raised $2,691 for breast cancer research and awareness. Click on the photo for a larger view.



The north and south walls of the PHS gym were covered with pink volleyballs. The larger the ball, the higher the donation. Inland Cellular donated the uniform tops each team wore. Click on each photo for a larger view. 

Mikayla Rowland, Bentley Ross and William Holman were the R3 (Responsible, Respectful, Ready) winners for September at Prairie Elementary and get to have lunch with Principal Jon Rehder at a restaurant of their choice in town.
