Happy thanksgiving from the Tuesday morning library story time kids! The kids had a blast creating turkeys from pine cones and feathers (see photo at left). Some of the feathers were quite impressive filled from pheasants. Huge thanks to Colleen Wilson and Carissa Jones for hosting the event and their continued dedication to our community. I’m dreaming of a white. . .Thanksgiving? There have been a couple days we’ve seen snow this month in Cottonwood but Tuesday, Nov. 23, looked like the first where we could see some accumulation. Click on the photo for a larger view.



This past Wednesday evening this fun group gathered in Nezperce from different parts of the prairie including Winchester and Ferdinand for a Paint Party.  It is  always enjoyable to see everyone's creations and these ladies painted the night away with some awesome Snowmen and Pickups. Photos submitted by Brenda Holmes. Jim Rehder reports the windstorm we had last Monday night, Nov. 8, took the backboard off of the basketball hoop at his home. It was several days later before he found the missing backboard, pictured below, on the other side of the fence, quite a distance from the hoop. Photos by Jim Rehder.
