Lady Pirates win 1 of 2
The Prairie Lady Pirates split a pair of league games this past week. On Tuesday, Dec. 7, they traveled to Lapwai and lost 45-47 on a buzzer-beater. On Friday, Dec. 10, they hosted Genesee and broke open a tight game in the second quarter and went on to win easily, 72-30. . . .

Patriot boys win twice, girls lose twice
The St. John Bosco Patriot boys won twice last week over Nezperce and Kendrick while the girls team lost to both of those schools. On Tuesday, Dec. 7, the boys beat Nezperce 63-48 while the girls lost 31-46. On Thursday, Dec. 9, the boys bat Kendrick 53-48 while the girls lost 20-54. All the games were played at Cottonwood. . . .
