Top scholars named for PHS class of 2022 This year’s valedictorian for the 2022 class of Prairie High School is Evan Schwartz; who has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout his high school career. Evan is the son of Jared and Annmarie Schwartz; he plans to attend the University of Idaho majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Evan participated in Football, Knowledge Bowl and FFA. He also is the ASB Student Body President and was instrumental in the development of the Graphic Arts Program at PHS. This year’s salutatorians are Laney Forsmann and Ali Rehder; they both maintained a 3.978 GPA throughout high school. Laney is the daughter of Adam and Tiffany Forsmann. After graduation, she plans on attending Idaho State University, majoring in Exercise Science/Physical Therapy. Laney was a member of Prairie’s Volleyball, Basketball and Softball teams. She was also active in Knowledge Bowl, HOSA, ASB Student Councit and Prairie League. Ali Rehder is the daughter of Jon and Renee Rehder; she plans on attending Boise State University majoring in Pre-Dental Hygiene. Ali was part of Prairie’s Volleyball and Basketball teams. She was also active in HOSA, BPA, Prairie League, ASB Student Council as well as Knowledge Bowl. Congratulations to these three very deserving students.
