UI Extension offers workshop
The University of Idaho Extension in Clearwater County is offering: “Forest Insects & Disease Field Day”.
Is something bugging your trees?
This annual event includes experts on insects and disease who will guide attendees on the identification and treatment of native forest tree diseases and bark beetles.
While native insects and diseases are a natural part of the forest, sometimes these organisms damage more trees than we want, especially if we have (usually unknowingly) created a favorable environment for them.
This program will help you identify forest insect and diseases that can cause significant tree   mortality, damage, or loss of growth, as well as suggest options for management.
