Craig and Tracy Hood have been named as Grand Marshals for the Third Cottonwood Summer Fest.
Craig commented that, “We don’t feel old enough to be grand marshals,” but they both agreed it was quite an honor.
They have been involved in all the fundraisers for Summer Fest since the start and say it is nice to have a community event back in town. It gives the clubs at the school and in town a chance to fund raise and brings money into the town.
Craig grew up in Cottonwood and after graduating from high school left the area for about 20 years, moving back in 2005. Tracy moved to town in 2005 as well and they met up later that year and eventually got married. He had 3 children prior to their marriage and she had 5. They raised 6 of those children together.
They are looking for to riding through the parade and are glad to support Cottonwood which they feel is a great town with an awesome school system.
