Raspberry Social 2022

Beth Forsmann as Sr. Alfreda Elsensohn, who started St. Gertrude’s Museum in an attic of the old St. Gertrude’s School, which has been recreated in the current museum.
The museum moved to the basement of the current school building, now Prairie High School, before moving to the current building.

Taylor Wilkins as Winifred Rhoades Emmanuel talks about her life with museum visitors. The artifacts shown were collected by Emmanuel’s husband Sam and donated to the museum after she died.

The raspberry products booth was well patronized as a customer checks out some raspberry popcorn. They also sold bread, jam and the ever popular raspberry wine.

The Raspberry Shortcake was popular again this year.

Many people looked through the items in the surplus booths.



Some of the live music acts that performed on the Monastery steps throughout the day.
