Patriot girls split, boys lose twice
The St. John Bosco girls basketball team was 1-1 last week while the boys were 0-2. The girls beat Highland 32-26 at Craigmont on Thursday, Dec. 14 while the boys lost 40-64. On Friday the two team traveled to Deary where the girls lost 25-44 and the boys lost 40-74. . . .

Fifth and Sixth grade girls at St. John Bosco Academy hosted Cocoa for a Cause on Saturday, December 16th.  They set up a stand at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and sold cocoa for the morning, raising over $800 for an orphanage in Uganda.  This project was thought of and planned by the students.  Pictured from left to right are: Ana Brown, Ella Enneking, Madeline Stubbers, Madison Duman, Marie Duman, Brooklynn Spencer, Audra Spencer, Cassidy Bock, Kaelyn Lustig, Teagen Dieseldorff and Oniece Edmonds. The 2014 Prairie boys and girls state champions were honored between the boys and girls varsity games against Potlatch last Friday, Dec. 15.
