32 students made the A honor roll for the first quarter of the 2008-09 school year at Prairie Middle School. Pirates complete 9-0 regular season; Night Shoot week 4; 6 of 13 wrestlers earn medals
The Prairie football team completed their first unbeaten regular season since 1969 when they won at Kendrick 70-24 Friday, Oct. 31. . . .
They play Troy in a first round state playoff game Friday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. at the Kibbie Dome in Moscow.

Prairie’s football coaches paid off a challenge with the team that they’d get their heads shaved if Prairie qualified for state. Bracketed by players David Sigler at left and Ronnie Chandler on the right are Ron Sigler, Ryan Hasselstrom, Teel Bruner and Kenny Mader. 

The Lewis & Clark Trail Tolo Lake Camporee took place Oct. 24 & 25 with the Cottonwood Boy Scouts joining with Grangeville.
