Santa Claus makes note of this young lady’s Christmas wish list at Santa’s Cabana after the Christmas Parade Sunday evening.

The Idaho County Fair Royalty participated in the parade. Queen Sarah Baune is in the front seat with princesses Merannda Chaffee and Halee Hill in the back seat of the lighted UTV with Kevin Chaffee driving.

Prairie Schools had a parade entry.

The Camas Prairie Insurance entry featuring Shelli and Bill Schumacher.

Voices of Christmas filled the Monastery dining room on Friday morning. Laurie Karel, music teacher at Prairie Elementary, brought her 4th graders to perform for the Sisters. Their performance included recorders, chimes and a lively song sung in Spanish. The Sisters also had the opportunity to sing along with the children and share their own version of “Silent Night” in German. Click on the photo for a larger view.

The Clarence and Rita Wassmuth family held their annual Christmas party this past Saturday, Dec. 18th, in Lewiston.  In attendance were Clarence and Rita;  all eleven children and spouses; numerous grandchildren and spouses; and many great-grandchildren -- numbering a total of 70 family members.
