The 8th graders have been experiencing parenthood.  The Prairie Middle School Teen Living  Class, learned how to care for infants through hands-on experience for 24 hours.  They had to care for their babies 24-7.  These babies are trained to let them know when they are not “happy”.   “I only slept for 4 hours last night,” said Lucas Arnzen.  “I needed someone to watch my baby so I could eat lunch,” chimed in Ali Hoene. Shown from left are Derrick Falzon, Dustin Sherer, Alli Hoene, Whitney Sonnen and Jonathan Williams. Photo provided by Becky Higgins. Click on the photo for a larger view.
