Lady Pirates start 3-0; Schedule change
The Prairie Lady Pirates started the season with 3 wins, all by at least 20 points. They opened the season with a 71-4 rout of a very young Orofino team Tuesday, Nov. 19. On Friday and Saturday they traveled to the Lakeside Turkey Shootout where they knocked off the Kellogg JV squad 56-16 on Friday and then beat the host Lakeside Knights 65-45 on Saturday. . . .

Prairie Community Library is asking local youngsters to come up with a name for this little guy who was made for the Library by Dennis Sullivan of Dog Bark Park. The book he’s reading is entitled “How to Teach Humans to do Tricks.” Anyone 12 and under can enter by writing your name suggestion on a piece of paper and dropping it off in the special box at the library.
