Prairie Kindergartners visited the fire station last Friday, May 30.  In the top photo, Clint Riener, left, was showing the youngsters what a fully suited up fireman looks like. In the lower photo Riener and Roy Uhlenkott were letting the youngsters feel the power of the water being pumped through the hoses. Click on the photos for larger views.

Last week Prairie's Go Green Group completed their last project for the year. We built a base and border around the high school's sign in order to lay down rock around it. Attached is a picture of the kids with the project! New visitors last week for story time were Catherine Seubert and Patrick Halligan who joined nine other young and eager little people.  Anxious to learn, each one was like a sponge, absorbing each and every word. Among the nine books that was read were, Bear of my Heart, The Tooth Book and The Otter. This week’s reader was Annette Kuther as Miss Polly was unable to attend.  Story Time is each Tuesday at 10:30 to 11:30 and all preschoolers are welcome.
