The sign at the old Prairie Elementary School detailing the asbestos and lead paint abatement project that has apparently been completed and a shot of the old Elementary School. The School District will be getting an appraisal done of the complex excluding the new gym/classroom addition, which is still used regularly by the community. Click on each photo for a larger view.

Wells Fargo closed their Cottonwood branch in November of this past year after over 40 years in Cottonwood. Betty Campbell worked there from day 1 until it closed. We understand Cottonwood Credit Union will be expanding to this location but due to financial institution rules, won’t be able to do that until June. Click on the photo for a larger view.
