Some resurfacing work was being done on Broadway St. Monday from Main St. to 1st South Street. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Prairie art teacher Shane Chapman added some artwork to the gym walls at the high school this summer. The Pirate above is above the main entrance on the south wall while the scroll with the fight song lyrics pictured below is on the north wall. To the right of the Pirate you can also see part of a new white state championship banner. New white banners have been added for all the state championships won prior to the year 2000 and hung on the south wall. Click on each photo for a larger view.
 


Shown are the winners of the annual Knights of Columbus Council 1389 annual "On a Swing and a Prayer" Golf Tournament held at Grangeville Country Club on Saturday July 13. First place was Advanced Welding and Steel Team #1 (top photo) (Jeff Edison, Ryan Uhlenkott, Noelle Uhlenkott, Grace Uhlenkott and Steel Uhlenkott). Second place was the team from Brute Steel (middle photo) (Zach Hasenoehrl, Dallas Paul, Mitch Green and Bob Hasenoehrl). Third place team was Advanced Welding and Steel Team #2 (bottom photo)) (Chance Ratcliff, Charles Adkins and Tyler Nelson). P1FCU was the major event sponsor this year.
