The food area was busy at lunch time at the Raspberry Festival with the line going from the white canopies at right back past the purple canopies. More photos in article at left. Click on the photo for a larger view.

For the third straight year, Prairie High School was the Schools of Excellence winner among 1A-Division 1 schools. Superintendent Rene’ Forsmann and PHS principal Jon Rehder are shown receiving the award along with Ty Jones of the IHSAA, left, and SFC Matt Wilson of the Idaho National Guard, which sponsors the award. Representatives from Public Health-Idaho North Central District visited the local Fit and Fall Proof exercise group on Monday. Deb Merica and Kate Wilson, program coordinators gave a presentation on how to pick up items off of the floor without causing injury.  Buddy Hood and Lorraine Nuxoll, program participants watch the demonstration.  Classes are held at the Cottonwood Community Hall on Monday and Thursday mornings from 9:30 – 10:30.
