Prairie High School was honored at the IHSAA meeting on Wednesday, August 4th in Boise by being presented the School of Excellence award.  Prairie High School has been fortunate enough to receive this award 4 of the past 5 years, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2020-21 (Potlatch received it for the 2019-20 school year).  Great student/athletes, teachers, and supportive parents and community members make this possible.  The three components that give schools the opportunity to receive this award are Academics, Athletics, and Citizenship.  We are proud of this achievement and we would not be able to do this without the hard work of everyone involved.  We hope we can continue this great success. Accepting the award for Prairie are Superintendent Jon Rehder and Principal Matt Elven.  Go Pirates!  Click on the photo for a larger view.

The Cottonwood City Crew was chipsealing Monday, August 9. The primary chipsealing work was done on the streets that got the CRABS paving treatment a couple years ago which include most of the side streets going west of Lewiston Street including Church Street above.
