Prairie art teacher Shane Chapman painted a new mural on the west side of the football fieldhouse. It replaces the former mural which had faded. LtCmd Brennda (Frei) Tsuhako recently graduated from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a dual certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.  Brennda is a graduate from Coeur d’Alene High School (2005) and Lewis-Clark State College (2009).  She has been serving in the U.S. Navy since 2012 and is currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan.  Her Parents, Craig & Shari Frei of Hayden, Idaho, as well as her husband and two children are thrilled and proud of her recent accomplishments.   Brennda is the granddaughter of the late Delbert & Laura Frei. Prairie Community Library has a program going on where youngsters ages 5-18 can check out a book in July and get a waterpark pass to the Asotine County Aquatic Center. Click on the photo for a larger view.





The youngsters at the Prairie Community Library Story Time last Tuesday, July 11 were able to paint bird houses donated by Del and Sheila Harris of Kendrick. They were also able to show off their creations to the senior citizen lunch crowd.
