The Prairie Pirates want to give a shout out to Kennedy Shears and Shyann Meyers for their Acts of Kindness and Responsibility last Wednesday. Lori Owens (local community member) lost her wedding ring while washing her car outside her house and couldn't find it. Kennedy and Shyann found it walking home from school that day. Kennedy reported it to her mom and they wanted to find the owner. After knocking on a couple doors, they found Lori's husband, who thanked the girls for finding it. Lori was not home at the time, so Lori wanted to meet the girls Thursday and present them each with a gift card to Coyote's. She was very appreciative and impressed with how responsible these ladies were. This shows that when you do the right thing, even when no one is watching, you may be rewarded for your kindness/responsibility! Keep up the great work and a powerful message for us all!
